Who we are
GPT Shop Ltd (company number 15766335, Goodison Middleton, Winterslow, Salisbury SP5 1QR) is the data controller for the personal data collected through restore.gptshopltd.com. Contact: chris@gptshopltd.com.
What we collect
- The photos you upload, and any people shown in them.
- Your name, email address and any notes you add.
- Payment confirmation from Stripe (we never see or store your card details).
Why we use it
Only to fulfil your order: to restore and colourise your photos, deliver them, handle re-edits, refunds and questions, and keep the records the law requires. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract with you, and legal obligation for accounting records. We never use your photos for marketing or to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores your uploads (Cloudflare Workers KV).
- Stripe takes your payment.
- Resend sends order emails.
The restoration tools run on our own computers. Your photos are not uploaded to third-party AI services. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Uploaded photos and order details are deleted automatically 90 days after upload. If you don't complete payment, your photos are deleted within 48 hours. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or for a copy to take elsewhere. Email chris@gptshopltd.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Photos of other people
When you upload photos of other people, you confirm you have permission to have them restored, including from anyone pictured where needed.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser.
